SOUTHLAND SHOW
EXCELLENT STOCK EXHIBITS. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Deoemher 9. The fifty-eighth annual summer show of the Southland A and P. Society opened to-day in glorious weather. There are excellent entries, and a large attendance for an off day. Some excellent'stock are exhibited, and in this connection a prominent breeder stated that the animals are quite up to the standard of the recent Royal Show. There are many visitors in the city from all over the Dominion, and the indications point to a , record attendance to-morrow, which' ib People’s Day.
