MINERS CLOSE TO DEATH

Two more entombed men have been rescued from Dunvant Colliery, aa the result of the -wonderful act of heroism of the mine manager, William John, who was also responsible for discovering these previously saved. A great crowd at tbe pit mouth welcomed the survivors by singing hymns, in which tbe survivors, though they were in an exhausted condition, joined. The entombed men, using s watch, timed tbe kick-off of the YVales-New Zealand. Rugby match, and then vanofis "memßere of {he party suggested the likely run of play, until the whole of the game was constructed as the men imaginatively followed tbe match. The manager swum through a big stretch of water in the workings, and found two men, but was unable to rescue them, -o be swam back and reported his disc bitiff?
