AUTONOMY OR ANARCHY. . -- EXTREMISTS’ DEMANDS. CALCUTTA, September 1. Autonomy jn all the provinces of India, with loose British* control and a central Government, with a provision similar to that obtaining in Egypt for the maintenance of British forces tor purposes of defence, or serious : anaroby, are alternatives held out by Mr M. S. Das, Leader of the Extreme Nationalists inßengal. He warns-the Government' ihat it does not ,know the extent of the, present revolutionary "activity. Mr Das claims that his activities destroyed the reforms granted in 1917. and he demands their replacement by a new Constitution, giving full self-gov-ernmfe’flt.
