Counsel for Lindley protested against the newspaper statement that he did not stop when the mishap occurred. He declare.! he did stop, and that he took one af the injured men to hospital. The police evidence was that after the accident Lindley drove on, but came back. Lindley was married a few hours before the occurrence.
