Victor Lindley has been remanded on a charge of murdering Robert Walker, and or. two charges of causing grievous bodily harm to the other men injured in the motor accident at Am mandate early on Sunday morning. Counsel for Lindley protested against the newspaper statement that he did not stop when the mishap occurred. He declare.! he did stop, and that he took one af the injured men to hospital. The police evidence was that after the accident Lindley drove on, but came back. Lindley was married a few hours before the occurrence.
