LAW BEATS INSURANCE ANNUAL MATCH TOOK PLACB YESTERDAY. COMFORTABLE MARGIN. As was expected, Law gained a hollow victory over Insurance in the annual match at Athletic Park yesterday, winning by 21 points to 3. Law’s total included eix tries and Insurance’s was * penalty goal. The Law team showed superiority from tho outset, piling up 14 points in the first spell. Hait scored a try, the kick being disallowed, and Wiren crossed a little later, Stewart failing with his shot. Maifroy then scored in a good position. Love converting, and Pope crossed again before half-time. On the resumption of play l'ope scored twice for Law, first Love and then Wiren failing to convert. Goodwin notched the final try for the winners after good work, but Love's shot missed. In this spell Christopherson kicked a penalty goal for Insurance, missing with two other likely shots. He captained the Insurance side, while J. Malfroy led tw Daw fifteen. Mr A. E. Neilson refereed.
