MAGLAREN ARRIVES
WELCOMED IN CANADA. ' Reuter’s Telegram. (Received August 17, 5.5 p.m.) VANCOUVER, August 16. A message front Plrinoe Rupert (B.CJ states that the. Canadian trawler Thiepval,, carrying Maclaren, the British flyer and. his party, arrived there and was formally welcomed by the city officials.Lashed to the trawler’s rigging were the retrains of the aeroplane which was damaged in a forced landing in the Nortbi Pacific.
Prince Rupert is the terminus of the Canadian Grand Trunk Railway.
