AMERICAN TENNIS MEN. ’VARSITY TEAM ARRIVES. A Stanford University tennis team arrived in Wellington by the Maunganui yesterday from San Francisco, tin their, way to Australia to play matches, the team members yesterdav stretched their legs ashore and kept their grips green with some practice on the Victoria College hard courts. The members of the team are Messrs R. Hinkley, T. Mertz, H. Overfeldt, M. do Bach, and H. Maloney (manager).
