ACHIEVEMENT IN CANADA. V PARLIAMENT APPROVES. Reuter's Teleernra. (Received June 27, 10.5 p.m.) OTTAWA, Juue 26. The principle of the Church Union Bill was carried in tho House of Commons, when an amendment providing that the hill should come into force on June 10th, 1925, was carried in committee of the whole House. The union of Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregational churches in Canada has been an accomplished fact for several months, but a minority of the Presbyterians has been antagonistic. This minority took legal action, asking that the delivery of tlie Presbyterian Church property to the new united organisation be prohibited.
