NOMINATION DECLINED. (Special to “N.Z. Times.’’) It is understood that the nomination of Mr J. P. Brandon for a seat, rendered vacant by the retirement of Mr W. H. Field, M.P., on the Education Board, has been declined, it being stated that the nomination arrived too late. It is understood that only two nominations have been received—that of Mr Los. Atkins, of Mauukan, and one from Mr Peter Robinson, of the Hutt.
