The Australian Olympic team has arrived, and was welcomed by tbv French Olympic Committee.- The team starts training immediately. Tlie Australians will compete in shooting, athletics, boxing, wrestling, swimming, rowing tennis, and cycling. Forty-two nations have entered for the games. NO FACILITIES PROVIDED. Intending competitors at the Olympic Games are experiencing many d>fficulties in connection with their arrangements. Boxers, cyclists, athletes, and swimmers eachtrain in different parts of Pans, long distances from their hotels. On their arrival the Australian athletes found no facilities whatever provided. The authorities state that the Colombia* ground itself is not available for training purposes. 3ho athletes declare that the special training track is too heavy, and is unsuitable, lacking facilities for hurdlers and jumpers. Those who visited the Colombes racing track to-day say the track is soft, and has many holes. Alost of the visiting teams are expected here next week. The Australians are wondering how they wilt fare. The Americans are training in their own country, and will not arrived until June 24th.
