ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTIONS. Tlie Prime Minister (the Right Hon. W. F. Massey), who has returned from a visit to Auckland and Taranaki, is highly pleased with the prospects ahead of the Reform Party. Asked by a “Times” reporter yesterday what ho thought of matters from the political point of view as a result of his tour through the country, Mr Massey replied.—“ While I was not out on party business, I can honestly say that I do not believe that I was ever received with so much enthusiasm as on my recent run round the oountry. Ido not believe that the Government ever stood so weil with the electors ae it does- at prerent. My reception in Taranaki was extraordinarily cordial.”
