PRIVATE COMPANY RECORD OF FAILURE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 13. When the City Council in November last sold the municipal fish business to Ilayr and Company, security was taken ovor certain properties for the mi la nee of the purchase money. After being in business a little over'six months, I la.viand Co. have assigned their estate for tho benefit of the council. 'The retail shops have been closed.
