HEARTY WELCOME IN . YORKSHIRE. OTWCKET AiND) (SIGHT-SEEING. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, June 12. The fifty young Australians of the Young Australia Jx- <114110 received a hearty Yorkshire welcome at Waddington’s big printing works’ at I.eeds. In tlio afternoon, despite showery weather, they played in an enjoyable cri> ket match which had a most exciting finish. The works team scored SO, and the l r oung Australians replied with a score of 87. A small party motored to Bradford and inspected several of the largest spinning mills. They received a Mayoral reception, at which they hail luncheon, and later attended a matinee aa the guests of Bradford Rotarians. 111 the evening the whole party wore entertained at a dinner and “sing-song” by the Heeds branch of “Too II.”- The proprietors of thv. Scala Theatre at Leeds are making a complete film of the Yorkshire visit, which will be presented to the boys iio bake back to Australia. incidents which have already been recorded will be shown at a special performance to-night.
