REPARATIONS PROBLEM
ANNOUNCEMENT BY COOLIDGE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received Mav 11, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 9. President Coolidge announced that a definite settlement of the European reparations problem should precede the calling of the Disarmament Conference. He sees no prospect of such ecttlement for some months to come.
