BREAKS NOTICE BOARD AT ANDERSON PARK.

Breaking a notice-board at Anderson Park resuited in the appearance on summons at the Magistrate’s Cburt yesterday of a youth named John Robert Diamond, who was charged with the offence. The notice-board was valued £2, and was the propertv of the City Council. Sub-Inspector Cummin 539 said that a number of boys were in the habit of using Anderson Park during prohibited hours. The defendant in this case had caught held of tbe post of the notice-board and had swung to and fro till it had snapped off. *‘Public property must be protected,” declared His Worship, in fining the defendant 10s, and ordering to pay the amount of the damage Time was given In which to pay.
