The following hymn has been printed as a leaflet for use in Carr's lona Church, Birmingham : Glad choirs of earth rejoice and sing. For 'tis Immanuel's right, To hear you praise Him as your King And to His service gladly bring Yonr songs of love and light. ’Tis yours to fan devotion's flame, 'Tis yours to quicken seal, To group new charms around the name Of Him whose lovo remains the same. The Father to reveal. With gladsome thoughts of love diviw Chase doubts and fears away, As those whose souls are filled in time With songs of melody sublime Proclaim Immanuels day! O iovful work of earth and skies When songs of praise abound. When happy 6acred harmonies. From countless voices glady rise To Him the wide world round. So let vour music fervent fire To H3tn in concert rise, ; Until with celeetial choir r Your heavenly harmonies conspire In song that never dies.
