HOOKEY

Y.M.C.A. CLUB. The annual report of the Y.M.C.A. Club shows ‘that the club won the junior and intermediate championship cups, and the intermediate six-a-eide tournament also that L. Atyer, H. Steptoe, and T. Guy had represented Wellington in the junior grade, and J. McDonald and K. Sword in the third grade. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting:—President, Mr W. Eglin; vioepresidemts. Messrs K Henry, W. Morpeth. G. P. Shepherd, G. Fildes, A. Philpotts, G. M. Silver, and L. J. Brabin; club captain, Mr H. Steptoe; secretary Mr G. Beale; treasurer. Mr L. R. Petrie; hon. auditor, Mr R. White; Wellington Hookey Association delegate, Mr G. Fildes; committee, Messrs T. Guy, K. Sword, G. Fildes. and L. Wadham; selection committee, Messrs K. Sword, (?. Beale, and H. Steptoe. Mr W. Eglin. who presented the club with a hockey stick for competition between members, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
