FIGHTING IN PAPUA
INTER-TRIBAL WARFARE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. MELBOURNE, March 6. The Home Territories Department has received a Tenly to radio messages sent to Papua inquiring into the alleged massacre of natives on March 2nd. The reply states that fighting is prevalent in areas not under control, but the authorities do not know the extent of the bloodshed.
