Before the Lush ire of Atichaot Alurphy had cooled down on Wednesday evening he had performed a piece of exercise which later cost him £1 for repairs, and which placed him un der the obligation of appearing before a magistrate at the court yesterday. Sub-Inspector Cummings explained that on Wednesday Alurphy had not gone to work, but had been drinking part of tho day. On returning to his lodging he commenced an altercation with his landlady, with the result that in a fit of temper he severely damaged a door. The Alagistrate (Mr E. Page, S.AI.) ordered the accused to make good the damage.
