ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
DEFENDANT REMANDED FOR TREATMENT. John William Radford was charged at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday with attempting to commit suicide by drinking poison. The accused was a motor driver by occupation, and was in a bad state when a doctor was called in to attend him. ■ Radford was removed to the hospital, and made a fair recovery. As the accused was still suffering from the effects of the poison, a remand for one week for medical treatment- was granted.
