SALE OF SECTIONS

RANGIURU SEASIDE RESORT. On Saturday, at Otaki, Abraham and Welliams, Ltd., auctioneers, Palmerston North, offered by public auction portion of Mr B. Hopkirks Rangiuru seaside property. There was a large attendance at the sale and keen competition was shown for sections, and additional interest was created, no doubt, through the tree-plant-ing which had been carried out some 20 years ago; and thus making a picturesque and sheltered resort. The prices ranged from £57 to £9O, and purchasers wero in attendance from Wellington, Greymouth, Palmerston North, Dannevirke, Taihape, Pahintua, Eketahuna and Otaki, thus showing the advantages of good advertising and the increasing demand for seaside sections. Mr R. P. Abraham wielded the hammer On behalf of the firm.
