DAN IRVING, LABOUR M.P. Reuter’* Telegram. (Received January 27, 5.5 p.m.)~ LONDON, January 26. . Obituary—Dan Irving. David Daniel Irving, Labour mem* her for Burnley, Lancashire, was born in 1854. He was in the mercantile marine, and wUs a railway servant also. He' was secretary and agent for the Socialist Party for 25 years, and unsuccessfully contested four seats before being returned for Burnley, which town he has represented since 1918, passing three general elections. His majority last election was 2651 over H. E. J. Camps (Conservative), in a triangular contest.
