LITTLE HOBTILE CRITICISM CONFIDENCE FELT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Associrtion. LONDON, January 22. The Toronto correspondent of “The Times” says: “It is significant that there is littlo hostile criticism of the British Labour Party by the Canadian newspapers. Much confidence is expressed thnt the many evil results predicted from a Labour Administration will never be realised.” The Montreal “Star” thinks that more danger is to bo feared from labour's inexperienco than from its radicalism. It believes that few men are better equipped than Mr Macdonald to mould the foreign policy of the British, so far as the actual study of . conditions is concerned. It wonders, however, if ho will prove a match for the diplomatic duelling of MM. Poincare and Millerand. All tlie. Proas comment shows a confidence that no vital interests of the Empire will lie sacrificed by the Labour Government and no revolutionary legislation forced through Parliament.
