AND COST OF LIVING. At a meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Railway Officers’ Instituto, held on 23rd instant, it was unanimously decided that in view of the continued rise in the cost of living, that tho executive be urged to immediately press for tho restoration of the amounts lost hy railway officers tinder tho Public Service Adjustment Act, 1921-22.
