QUESTION OF REBUILDING. MEETING OF PARISHIONERS. A meeting of the parishioners of St Barnabas Church, Roseneath. was held last night to decide what should be done in regard to restoring or rebuilding the church, which was recently damaged by fire. .The vicar (the Veh. Archdeacon Innis Jones) presided, and there were 30 to 40 parishioners present. It was resolved that the vestry should take steps to ascertain the approximate cost of rebuilding or restoring, if possible, the old building, and report to another meeting of parishioners. Mr Clare, the diocesan architect, was appointed to report on tUnbuilding and attend at the next meeting. In his opening remarks, the vicar stated that a number of subscriptions, including one of £6O, towards the rebuilding or restoration hind had already been .spontaneously given.
