MR ANDERSON IN BAY OF PLENTY. Per Press Association. TAURANGA, January 24. The Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister for Mines, arrived here to-day from Napier and Gisborr.s via the coast. This morning he inspected Muir’s gold reefs at Te Puke, and, in reply to a request for assistance for developing the 500 ft level, 6aid he would arrange for a report on the mine by the Government Geologist. Personally he felt confident the company should have no difficulty in raising the capital required. This afternoon the Minister made an inspection of the harbour, in company with Mr Godfrey, Secretary for Marine, and Mr F. S. Dyson, District Engineer for Public Works, and leaves for Hamilton en ioute for Wellington,
