BOK MAKES OFFER
PROBLEM OF PEACE. SENATE MAY SOLVE IT. Australian m.l V.K Cab'" Association. WASHINGTON. January 22. Answering the Senatorial charge of propaganda and the allegation that the winning peace plan was chosen by a packed jury, Mr Bok has announced an offer to let the Senate Committee itself select a suitable plan from among the 22.000 submitted, m the recent contest. Mr Bok added that he would pav 100,000 dollars to the author of the plan thus selected, and defray all the expenses of a nation-wide referendum thereon. In all respects he agrees to give the committee plan the same financial support he is according to the present plan. .He explained that his offer was influenced by the intimation at the committee meeting that he was predisposed to a particular kind of plan, which he denieo.
