DISTRICT RECOYI M END ATKINS. Per Press Association WANGANUI, January 23. At a meeting of No. 8 district highways council to-day it was decided tj recommend to the Highways Board that the present Wellington-New Plymouth main road through Uangitikei, Wanganui. Waitotara and Patea coun ties, and the Parapara road from th* Wanganui county boundary to Oha» kune via Raetihi, he declared main highways.
