LEVEL-CROSSING ACCIDENT
INQUEST ON YIISS OPENSHAW Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, January 23. An open verdict was returned at the inquest on the body of Miss Openshaw, the victim of yesterday’s accident at Lepperton. The coroner said there was no evidence of blame being attachable to anyone, but commented on the number of level crossings in Taranaki where the roadway dips, leaving high banks to obecare the view. He was pleased to see that some of these banks were being cut down.
