Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on December 18th, 1923, the following resolution was passed: That the Wellington City Council, pursuant to the provisions of “The Hutt Hoad Amendment Act, 1917" and the ■’Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1922,” and in pursuance of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1915, and its amendments, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that bohalr, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order:— 1. That a Spesial Loan of 3150,000 (to be known as the Wellington City Hutt Road Construction- Loan, 1924) be raised by the Wellington City Council for the purpose of onstructing the Hutt Road as defined in the Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1915, in a permanent material with a covering and for purchasing plant to the extent authorised by the Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1917, end its amendments.

2. That the rate of intereet on the said loan be five pounds ten shillings (£S 10b) per centum* per annum, payable halfyoarly during the currency of the said loan, being a period not exceeding ten years from the 31st day of March, 1924. 3. That a Sinking Fund of Two Pounds Ten Shillings (JZ2 10a) per centum per annum be established in connection with the said loan. 4. That the security for the interest and sinking fund and repayment of the said loan be the security afforded by the provisions of the Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1917, and any amendments thereof, and that Five Hundred Debentures, each for -£'loo, and relative coupons in form in conformity with the Local Bodies' Act, 1913, and its amendments and the Hutt Bead Amendment Act, 1917, be executed, sealed and issued.
