PREMIER'S DAUGHTER
YOUNG AND PRETTY. STUDIOUS TASTES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 23, 8.36 p.m.) LONDON, January 23. Miss Ishbell Macdonald, the Premier’s eldest daughter, is a studious, pretty girl, with rosy, dimpled cheeks. She visited No. 10, Downing street, at Mrs Baldwin’s invitation, and afterwards told the “Daily Express”: “Of course I shall be father’s hostess. Why not? I am twenty, though, people always think me younger. It will he an interesting experience. I am' awfully proud of my father. “I have been at a domestic soienoo college, but may finish there soon. I have been studying laundry work, housewifery, and cookery, but I prefer science and physics. I think I shall like No. 10 which is a nice place, but awfully complicated. I like oldfashioned novels bast, do not like dancing, but am fond of music, golf, and hockey.
