TRAMWAY PASSES
FOR CHARITABLE BODIES. GRANTED AT INCREASE. At last evening’s meeting of the City Council the recommendation of the tramways committee was adopted: “That in connection with the issue of tramway concession passes to charitable institutions the price to be charged for each concession pass be fixed at £lO per annum, the district fund to contribute an additional £5 to the tramway department.” ' This is an increase of 100 per cent, on the previous charge.
