WHARF FOR ISLAND DAY
APPLICATION FOR SUBSIDY. The Wellington City Council decided last night that application should he made to the Government for tho payment of the subsidy of £1250 towards the erection of a wharf at Island Bay, and that a similar sum should ho placed on next year’s estimates for the completion of this work.
