PERUVIAN DESERTERS. Julio Aruas and Oscar Canales, two young Peruvian seamen, were charged, at the Magistrate’s Court, yesterday, with landing in Now Zealand while being prohibited immigrants. It was stated that the accused had worked on the s.e. Rimutalta as seamen, and it had been intended to send them back to their country. Ail order was made by His Worship (Mr C. R. Orr-Walker, S.M.) for their return to tho ship, front which they had absented themselves without leave.
