SCHOOL CONCERT
SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION BT MJtTST , BROTHERS. Most enjoyable was the annual Xarist Brothers’ School concert held la the Town Hall last night, and the laigi audience were quick to show their appreciation of a lengthy and varied prograxuno. The items were as follow:—8t. Joseph’s Orchestra (Misses M. O’Neill. M. Tracy ■ Messrs Q. Whiteford, W. Conroy, A. Ronain, R. S. Dwyer): chorus by the pnpils of the school; Mr L. W. Hanlon, musical monologue; character recitation, “Brian Born before the Battle,” by tb« pupils of the school; "Aote-a-roa," by Messrs L. Harrington. E. McKenna, J. Lyons, and~J. Clerworth; dripping dance, by Zelma Carroll; Master Bert Phillips, “A song of Long Ago”; physical drill and maze marching by the pnpils of the school:.Master Deamondar Larin, violin solo, “Simple Avon": duet, “List to the Convent Bells,” L. 'Harrington and E. McKenna: Beryl Ward, daoqp, “Reconciliation”: American clog dSioe hy Misses Gladys Needham, Martin, E-übv Fisher. Vera Milnm Marjory Vause,' Nellie Donll; “Oft in the Stilly Night” and "The West’s Asleqh” hy the school choir; recitation in character, “The Choice of Trades," hy ns jnnlot pupils; flute solo, by Mr Claude Tucker; chorus (e), “Chime of Bella,” (k) "A Nation Once Again.” by tho aebool choir; recitation hy Mr Stanley Wpxwick: violin solo, by Mr Leon de Mauny; aong, “Harlequin.” by Mr Leonard Daniell; tableaux drill and gymnastic display of pyramids, bv the punils of the school; Hyland flinor and Sheanntriubhav by Master D.
