FORGOTTEN LETTERS
DISCLOSURE OF CONSPIRACY. COUNTESS ARRESTED. Published In 'Tho TJmas" LONDON, December 12., The Prague correspondent of “The Times” says it i. 3 reported from Bratislay that Countess Louise Esterhazy, a member of the famous Hungarian family, has been arrested at her country seat at Nitra, Slovakia, on a charge of spying cn behalf of tho Hungarian Government. The Countess, who is 24 years of age, is now a Czecho-Slovakian subject, and alleged to be of a romantic and unbalanced temperament. Her revolutionary activities have long been suspected, and her arrest is duo to tho fact that she inadvertently left sealed hut unaddressed letters on the counter of a Craco v bank, where she transacted business. The letters wore opened and found to contain, material connecting her with a conspiracy foi mod by members of tho Polish and Hungarian aristrocracy with tho object of separating Slovakia from tho rest of the Czecho-Slovakian Republic. A search of her country house revealed further important evidence.
