BOXING EMBARGO
AUCKLAND COUNCIL RESCIND RESOLUTION. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 13. The City Council to-night rescinded the ban on boxing contests in the Town Hall, on condition that the Boxing Association guarantee to assume fuU responsibility for the. conduct in the hall and annexes, and prevent certain practices, such as smoking, drinking, and standing on seats.
