HUTT VALLEY GUN CLUB
SATURDAY’S COMPETITIONS. The Hutt Valley Gun Club held their shoot at Lower Hutt on Saturday. The weather conditions were unfavourable owing to drizzling rain and. threatening clouds. Mr H. Langdon’s leg-in trophy was fired ‘for and eleven competitors took part. Messrs A. Scott, R. Reed and C. Mooru tied for first place with sixteen birds out of twenty-one, and in the shoot ofi R. Reed won. Other competitors were:—J. Soholes, 15; J. Brassell, 15; S. Edwards, 14; A. Dennison, 14; J. Cave, 14; R. Philp, 13; S. Scott, 12; and D. Naughton, 10. For the Speedy’s trophy, straight ont, fifteen birds, J. Soholes secured the possible, and A. Scott was second with 13; tT. Brassell, 12 jA. Dennison, 12; S. Bdftvards, 11; R. Philp, 11; J- Cave, 19; S. Scott, 9; and O Moore, 8.
