ABOTOMEY V. DICK N.S.W. CHAMPION LEADS. The billiards match between W. Abotomey, ex-New South Wales champion, and W. Dick, of North Scotland, proceeded a further stage yesterday. The game is 8000 up. In the afternoon Abotomey was in hand with a lead of 230 on the first day’s play. At the close of the session he had increased the lead to 384, the ocores being: Abotomey (in play with 18 unfinished). 1999; Dick, 1615. Breaks: Abotomey, 50, 93, and 66; Dick, 58 58, and 57. There was a fair attendance at the evening eession, when Abotomey only added a few to the unfinished break. Seme interesting play was witnessed on both sides, but large breaks should, be forthcoming now that they are more used to the table and balls. The eession terminated:— Abotomey (in play) 2664 Dick 2282 Breaks: Abotomey, 71, 81, 78 501 Dick, SI, 28, 45, 26, 53.
