BRITAIN TO GRANT £9OOO. IF DOMINIONS FOLLOW. Australian ani N.Z. CsVe Associat'on. (Received November 23. 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, November 23. The Duke of Devonshire, in a letter generally approving the recommendations of the Imperial Institute committee, states that the Government is prepared to propose to Parliament an annual grant of £9OOO, for five years, and inviteS the colonies and protectorates to agree to a contribution between them annually of £BOOO for the same period, on the condition only that the Governments of the dominions and India give assurances that they will make a contribution totalling £BOOO for a fixed period of five years.
