DAIRY BOARD CANDIDATES
DIFFICULTY OVER A ROLL. THRE AT OF A WRIT. Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N., November 22. Mr Richard Oofobe, of Folding, has been nominated as a candidate for a seat on the Dairy Control Board. TE AWAMUTU, November 22. Mr R. Oobbe, of Feilding, was nominated by 21 factories. His application for copy of the roll was refused by the Minister of Agriculture, though it if understood the roll has been issued to the "ticket.” The Minister has been advised that a writ will he issued if a refusal is persisted in. When the matter was referred this afternoon to the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. W. Noeworthy) he said he had received a telegram from Mr Oabbe. but the matter was one for the Electoral Department, and he had referred it to the officials of that office. He knew nothing about the issue of a writ.
