HOME MARKETB TALLOWThe New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 21st instant: — "Tallow—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions:—Fine mutton. 46s fid per cwt; good beef. 42s per cwt; mixed, 37s 6d per cwt. Market active." LONDON TALLOW MARKET. The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office under date 21st instant; —Tallow : There is a good demand and the market has advanced 6d per cwt. TALLOW SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of the 21st instantl7lo casks of tallow offered, 1080 sold. Since our last wire prices are:—Prime mutton Is to Is 6d per cwt higher; beef price unchanged; other descriptions prices unchanged to 6d higher. SALE AT MARTON tbraham and Williams, Ltd., report at their Marton sale on the 20th Inst., yarding 2000 sheep, 100 head of cattle, and 30 pigs. Sheep met with a dragging sale, and cattle were “hard to quit, the bulk of cattle being passed. Prices ruling were as folow :—Two-tooth wethers 17s 7d, 19s lOd. 22s 9d, 23s 6d to 24s 6d, do small 13s to 13s 9d, 2-tooth ewes 2Qg 7d to 255, yearling steers £2 to £2 os, empty heifers 355, £2 5s to £2 12s Cd, cows in profit to £6 10s.
