As Armistice Dav falls on a Sunday there will be life official functions, but the Government is asking the heads of the churches to conduct special services, with a silence of tfro minutes at 11 o’clock, followed by tho singing of tho National Anthem. It also asks the general public to observe the silence, as in former years.
