FARMERS IN CONFERENCE ‘ ELECTION OF A SOUND BOARD IS NECESSARY.” A TICKET SELECTED. \ conference was held yesterday between tlie Dairy Control Committee, together with representatives of the Farmers’ Union, and the Dairy Farmers’ Union. The chair was occupied by Mr IV. Grounds. The necessity of securing the election of a sound board to administer tlie Dairy Control Act was recognised, and emphasised by all present. The meeting decided to select representatives who would he widely representative of the whole industry, and to urge dairy farmers throughout the whole Dominion to support a ticket selected tiv the gathering. Tlie ticket selected was as follows: Messrs W. Grounds, Hokianga ; IV. Geodfellow, Hamilton: IV. C. Midrion, Waiuku: H. D. Forsyth. Elthain : W. A. lorns, Martinborough; H. Dalrymple, Bulls; Jolm Fisher, Otautau, Southland; F. Waite. We.iwera, South Otago; and J. R. Thacker, Akaroa, Canterbury.
