Andersen looked insignificant beside hie huge opponent, and had no chance on account of the differenoe in weights, Anderson cleverly eluded the big man’s holds, bnt succumbed to a test of strength on the mat. Robin secured the first fall in 6 minutes, and the second fall in 9 minutes id seconds. In the amateur lightweight bouts, McDonald (Turakina) defeated Kara (Hawke's Bay), securing three falls, and Davidson (Wnipawa) defeated Dixon (Turakina), securing one fall in five bouts.
