WELLINGTON CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Chi If- was held last evening, Mr A. J. Fernie presiding. There was a good muster of members. The annual report and balance-sheet, which have been already published, were adopted. It was decided to increase the subscription for tho eneuing year by 12s fid for ladies and 10s for gentlemen. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr F. Grady; vice-presidents, Messrs A. Fair, A. J. Fernie, Mesdames N. B. Barkman, and H. Henderson-, hon. secretary, Mr J. Pigou; hon. treasurer, Mr H. Y. Scott; committee, Messrs N. Witcombe, R. Archibald, R. H. Bose, E. Wright, H. Henderson. The official opening will take place today.
