LADIES’ CLUB SECOND ANNUAL MEETING. The second annual meeting of the ladies’ branch of the Wellington Arnotear Athletic Club was held last night at the Y.M.C.A. Jlr A. C. Tho cliuirinan stated, that there would be two races for ladies at tho Labour Day sports, and hoped there would bo a good number of entries. Ho also said they hoped to get tho Athletic Park again for training, and commented favourably on the dress and performance of the Wellington ladies. . , Mr Hodson congratulated tho club on its successful past season, and commended the conduct and. sporting spirit shown by the ladies at all the competitions.
