(By tne Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday), ore foe variable winds, but south-easter-lies to north-easterlies, strong to gale ruling. Dull and misty weather may ho expected with rain, generally, and heavy rain with rivers Hooded in many parts ot the North Island and tho north-east districts of the South. Barometer falling everywhere.
