Mrs R. McKenzie, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Masterton. Interesting mention was made to La Scala Opera House, at Milan, by Mr Leo Buckeridgo in his address to the Wellington tallian Club, and in this connection he declared that the club was honoured in having among its members one who had the distinction of singing there. He referred to Miss Adelaide .Van Staveren. It is hoped that Mis Van Staveren will sing to club members at *omi6 future date. The distinction of singing at Lg.
