MEETING GF MASTERTON BOUT
(By Telegraph.—Special to "Times. ’) MASTERTON, October 10. The monthly meeting of the genera] committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association was held this afternoon. Mr W. M. James presiding. The treasurer's statement was submitted. and disclosed that since June 30th the receipts 'had been .£587 4s 7a, and the expenditure JB7OB Is Sd. Thu credit in the working rccopjit, less nn presented cheques, was ,£691 36 4d and the debit balance at bank J613C6 I6s 8d Twelve members of the Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association will make a canvass of Wellington for donations to the show prize -fund early in November. I* 'l' 08 decided not to recognise the stcie-anowmen s Association, and it was resolved that the military be charged JEI per day for the use of the show grounds for military training purposes for a week. ■ . . • Prize money in the light horse classes was increased by .£35 10s, compared with last show. It was decided to ask the Wellington Kacmg Club, for a donation on the lines of similar donations made by the dub to other A. and P. associations, anj snch donation to be added to the chainPion jumping competition. The resignations of Messrs F T. Horner and E Horner were accepted. Mr . “■ />■ N'col has donated a silvoi cup for dog olasses at the show.
